Terms and conditions:
- There is no cash prize alternative.
- The judges' decision is final.
- Competition prize is non-refundable and non replaceable.
- Winners must be available to travel from 5th – 20th January 2009.
- Winners will fly from London Heathrow Airport and must make their own arrangements to get to and from this airport.
- All winners must be 18 or over.
- Films must not be over 1 minute long or 20mb in file-size.
- To qualify, submissions must be received by 5pm on 1st December 2008.
- Film entries must be original works and must be submitted by the creator.
- You are permitted to enter only one video. Spam postings will result in all your entries being removed.
- To qualify, all material needs to be suitable for family viewing. If it's of an explicitly sexual or violent nature, or if it contains anything likely to incite racial prejudice, it'll be rejected.
- Before you submit, please check that all contributions to your film or recordings, and any copyright material included in them, have been cleared for all purposes. You need to ensure that you have permission from the actors, permission from the location owners and permission from the person who has written songs or music in order to include them in your film. By submitting your entry you are claiming you have all relevant permissions.
- STA Travel reserves the right to remove or refuse any entry at their discretion.
- STA Travel reserves the right to change the prizes at their discretion.
- STA Travel accepts no liability for technical or human errors of any kind that occur as a result of the competition.
- Please ensure that you keep your original material or a good quality copy as we may need it at a later date.
- Nobody likes a cheater so the use or perceived use of software or hardware of any description to falsely increase votes in an automated manner will result in the film being removed from the competition.
- STA Travel may vary, withdraw or cancel the competition at any time whatsoever in its absolute discretion without liability. No correspondence will be entered into.
By submitting your entry:
- You are granting us permission to publish it and, if necessary, edit it for clarity and typo.
- You are granting us permission to publish your full name on the website, and in any 3rd party media.
- You agree that you own all copyright in the submitted film or that you have permission from the copyright owner to enter into this agreement on their behalf.
- We will hereby reserve the right to publish your submission and your name for publicity purposes in all media without any payment to you.
- You hereby indemnify STA Travel against any claims of whatever nature that arise as a result of any breach by you of any of these Terms and Conditions or any warranty offered by you under this agreement.
- You are granting us permission to film your prize trip and related adventure activities.
- You are agreeing to blog, upload photos and interact with relevant local/national media. This could include newspapers, radio stations and other media/PR channels.
- Last but not least you agree to receive our rather brilliant email newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
